Motivation and Purpose

Meet "Niunai," one of our beloved school cats at the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology. On campus, we're lucky to have five charming feline residents, each capturing the hearts of students. While the joy of interacting with them is widespread, it prompts us to address a crucial issue—animal care awareness.

Niunai and his companions enjoy the care of our community, but we recognize they represent a fortunate minority. Many animals, unlike our well-cared-for school cats, endure hardships scavenging for food in garbage cans and facing the challenges of street life. Lacking the attention they deserve, these animals are vulnerable to diseases due to prolonged exposure to harsh conditions.

Do these animals not deserve the same love and care as our cherished pets? Why should their lives be marked by struggle and neglect? These questions drive our commitment to this website, aiming to raise awareness about the plight of less fortunate animals and inspire compassion in our community. Through valuable information, we hope to foster understanding and empathy toward animals. Who are we?

We are the students from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology. We are Danny, Sam and Elaine. In our class, Multiliteracies: Problem-based English Reading and Writing, we are eager to present the issue of animal cares because we care a lot about animals. That's why in this website, there are a lot of information about this topic, such as podcast and videos. We hope that after browsing this website, you can have a more understanding about this topic.
